The official venue describes the course as a Hurdzan-Fry design set across rolling farmland with dramatic elevation changes.

The property also holds a quiet place in YouTube golf's beginnings. Garrett Clark, Micah Morris, and the Bryan brothers all filmed some of their early videos on these grounds, and when the world slowed down in 2020, the cameras at Pursell Farms never did.

For YGT, the setting works as a low-friction opener: scenic, familiar to YouTube golf fans, and built for a multi-round content week.
